He served during WWII in Germany and the Philippines, and was discharged January 1946. Donna was born on December 21th, 1938 in Syracuse, NY, to George and Lucille (Donaldson) Tripp. Never with idle hands, Bill was always building or creating. On February 3th, 1944, Sherry married the love of her life, Howard Waters, in La Porte, IN. They were two of the most important parts of his life. Lois will be laid to rest with her great grandparents in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac. She was part of the girls card club and the dice & dice club for over 60 years. Billy, also known as Bill, was born in Maple Springs, Arkansas on February 13th, 1932 to Fred and Marie Sightes. A time of visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. (CST) on Sunday, April 30th, 2023 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. on Monday, May 1st, 2023 at the funeral home. A loving and selfless man, he is survived by his daughters, Shannon (Rick) Penrod and Samantha (Dennis) Mahlka; 7 grandchildren, Mara Harris, Alrena Harris, Riley Tuerff, Brelynn Harris, Warren Anderson, Ricky Penrod, and Emerick Mahlka; and sisters, Connie (Jim) Wolff and Kathy Paschen. Our own rockstar, "Little Willie" was known by many for the song California Sun with the Rivieras, and later as the lead of Little Willie and the Chevrons.
